Here in northern Connecticut, we experienced our first snow storm during the first week of December. On the first day of the storm, our house saw about 5-6” of fresh powder. Despite a forecast of 1-3” for night #2, our actual snowfall amounted to 12”! Our two day total was 18”. Hello, winter ‘19-‘20!
As a reminder to every healthcare professional this winter season: yes, our patients need us ASAP, but make sure you stay safe on your drive to and from the hospital (or clinic), so that you are ready and able to treat your patients! This is especially true when we’re on-call and driving distance from the hospital.
