Halloween in Connecticut

We are very blessed to live in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Our neighborhood’s favorite holiday to “dress up” the homes is Halloween. Many of our neighbors will spend a lot of time and effort to decorate and transform their garage or front yard into a “scary” theme. Pre-COVID, our home would see over a hundred trick-or-treaters.

Notably, our next-door neighbor custom builds Toy Story and other popular movie-based “sets” and puts them on display. The town loves it. It really makes me thankful to be associated with such nice, generous neighbors! These people really bring a smile to my face; it’s an important reminder to always save time for the “fun” things in life.
